About
Born and raised in the UK, I knew when I was four years old that I wanted to be a writer. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way I got lost and spent almost three decades doing other things.
I got a degree in Journalism.
I worked in hospitality, diving, tech, and recruitment.
I lived in five countries across three continents.
Eventually, I remembered what I was supposed to be doing and dropped everything to pick up a pen.
Now I write flash fiction, short fiction, novellas and novels, and hope my stories bring a little bit of joy to those that read them! – I’m also the Co-Founder & Managing Editor of InDiabetes, a site providing information and advice to diabetics (a cause I’m passionate about).
For more information on what makes me tick as a writer, and how I got to where I am today, you can find an interview with me at Collections of Poetry & Prose (with whom a selection of my stories have been published), another with Uprising Review (publisher of a short story), and a piece in my own words describing my journey as a writer at The Writers College Times.
